Tender for the construction of a laboratory at Kashiba Secondary School
Mwense Town Council has made budgetary provisions in its Constituency Development Fund for 2026 under Mambilima Constituency. It intends to apply a portion of the funds to cover eligible payments under a Contract for the Construction of a Laboratory at Kashiba Secondary School.
The Local Authority now invites you to submit your most competitive quotation for the proposed works according to the following Terms and Conditions and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your quotation in the required format with a validity period of 120 days from the date of submission should be addressed to; The Council Secretary, Attention: Procurement and Supplies Unit, P.O. Box 760001, Mwense. Submission of quotations by fax or email is not acceptable.
The deadline for submission and receipt of your quotation is at 30th September 2026 at 17:00 Hours via the electronic government procurement system ( EGP).
3. Eligibility / Verification:
The Bidder shall submit with its quotation / bid the following additional documents:
Power of Attorney according to the format provided in the Request for quotation.
Letter of Bid / Signed Bid form according to the sample form provided in this request for Quotation.
Litigation status
- Zambia Revenue Authority Tax Clearance Certificate
- PACRA Registration/ certificate of incorporation (Certified by a Commissioner of Oath)
- Valid Workers Compensation Compliance Certificate
- Site visit Certificate must be submitted with the Bid.
Qualification requirement:
- Personnel – The Bidder must demonstrate that it will have the personnel for the key positions that meet the below requirements using the attached bidding format and must attach Curriculum Vitae for each position
- Trades men – Craft Certificate in Bricklaying, Electrical, Carpentry, metal fabricating and Painting
- Equipment – The Bidder must demonstrate that they have access to the key Contractor’s equipment listed hereafter: List of basic construction tools
- Proposed completion Schedule – The Bidder must demonstrate the period in which they intend to complete all the works in the form of:
- A work schedule/Work statement not exceeding 120 days
5. Evaluation requirements:
a. Specific experience – Participation as a contractor, in at least two similar contracts that have been successfully and substantially completed.
6. Financial Qualification requirement
Provide priced BOQ (VAT Inclusive)
